Want to try Pebble?
Recently we spoke to baby sleep expert Hannah Clapham from Little Nest Sleep. Hannah’s a London-based mum who’s super passionate about using a holistic approach to sleep and wellbeing. When she became a mother, she was faced with that most unwelcome of parenting experiences: sleep deprivation.
So she found herself becoming obsessed with the science (and art) of supporting baby sleep. When she started out, it was initially to help her figure out her own child’s nighttimes; then she started helping friends with their nocturnal challenges. Soon, she found herself training with experts like holistic sleep advocate and paediatric nurse Lyndsey Hookway and becoming accredited through professional childcare qualification provider Babyem.
Her advice: every baby is unique and we all have our own special relationship with sleep. Don’t judge yourself harshly for finding it difficult. There are some key things to remember – check them out here:
For the whole conversation with Hannah (the second in our Pebble People series of chats with paediatric specialists), see our full video here.
Need sleep support? Little Nest’s website has advice, resources and ways to get in touch if you’d like to discuss a consultation. Follow Hannah and find out more at @littlenestsleep.
